A Bespoke Ring For Charlotte Olympia Dellal
The Brief
A bold, statement cocktail ring, taking references from Charlotte’s Grandmother’s ring and the halo Art Deco design V is known for. Charlotte’s love of spider webs across her own designs is well known, and incorporating that into the ring would make it truly personal to her.
The Consultation
A lover of Art Deco jewellery, Charlotte referenced her Grandmother’s signet ring as inspiration during the consultation. To put her stamp on the design, Charlotte wanted to adapt a classic halo design and apply her signature spiderweb motif.
The Result
The result is a stunning 18ct yellow gold signet ring, encrusted with a diamond halo and a platinum set emerald cut diamond. Just like the brief, the band is thick and closely mirrors the shape of Charlotte's grandmother’s ring, while the ring’s subtle spiderweb halo is truly unique.
Both Laura and Charlotte wanted to strike a classic/contemporary balance and so it was important to ensure neither the Deco nor spiderweb elements were too literal.
