We are V. We are an independently owned female & family founded brand, established in Birmingham in 2013. We make high quality, contemporary Art Deco jewellery affordable to a wider market.

We are anti-trend. Our founder Laura Vann designs vintage-inspired demi-fine and fine jewellery that has uniqueness and longevity.

We are principled. We offer refurbishment, we conduct independent ethical audits, we never burn stock, we sell pre-loved and most importantly, we believe that timeless design is key to slowing consumption.

 

 Guided by over 20 years of experience from her father’s jewellery business, Laura founded the brand in 2013 after noticing a gap in the market for timeless stone-set jewellery that was well made but accessible, and so set out on a mission to modernise Art Deco jewellery, making it available to a wider market by using recycled sterling silver. Encapsulating an ethos of longevity, V by Laura Vann counters fast fashion with enduring Modern Deco design. Each piece is designed to last, both in terms of a timeless aesthetic and responsible origin, using recycled metals and ensuring ethical production through rigorous SMETA auditing.

 

V quickly evolved and today the band’s demi-fine collections are stocked by some of the finest retailers worldwide including Selfridges, Liberty, Harvey Nichols, and Fortnum & Mason.

In more recent years, the brand has expanded its bespoke service. Crafted in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, Laura has designed custom fine rings for and with influential creative talents including Camille Charrière, Raven Smith and Self Esteem.
