Off Duty Club Part 4 was a testament to how time flies when surrounded by some of Birmingham’s most creative and ambitious women. This sold-out event showcased the power of community, networking, and female empowerment in the heart of our city.
THE ORIGINS OF OFF DUTY CLUB
What started as a simple idea has grown into one of Birmingham’s most anticipated networking events for career-driven women. Our founder, Laura, and restauranteur Sophie first met at an International Women’s Day event in 2024. Inspired by the incredible stories they heard, they envisioned a space where women could continue these conversations beyond just one day a year.
Their goal? To create a welcoming, non-corporate environment for ambitious women to connect, share stories, and support each other’s journeys. And so, Off Duty Club (ODC) was born—a place to celebrate and retain the incredible talent we have right here in Birmingham.
A SOLD-OUT NIGHT TO REMEMBER
On March 26th, 2025, we gathered at the newly refurbished Grace & James— setting the perfect tone for an evening filled with great wine, delicious food, and meaningful conversations.
From the moment guests arrived, the energy was palpable. A mix of familiar faces and first-time attendees filled the room, each eager to share experiences, exchange ideas, and build lasting connections. The night wasn’t just about networking—it was about fostering real relationships and supporting each other’s aspirations.
